I was very impressed with this Wagamama. It's a fairly large restaurant situated on the top floor of the West Quay shopping centre. There was a small queue waiting to be seated, but we didn't have to wait long. I have to say that all of the dishes that we ordered were very tasty. I guess that its not easy to mess up starters like edamame beans and koko prawn crackers, and these did not disappoint. Also, both mains that we ordered were top notch. What really made the soba and salad dishes was the steak which was very tender and nicely cooked. I'm a big fan of Japanese-style cooking and will definitely go back to Wagamama for another delicious lunch or dinner.

Food and service was brilliant I had questions about ingredients as I am pregnant and they were answered confidently and robustly which provided me with reassurance thank you. All food came hot and super delicious I asked for extra sauce and it came can’t wait to visit again as I am craving Wagamama been a favourite in my last trimester been pregnant!!!!
I had an incredible visit to Wagamama thanks to the outstanding service from Chris. From the moment we sat down, Chris was warm, attentive and genuinely passionate about the menu. His suggestions were spot on, you could tell he really knew what would suit our tastes, and every recommendation ended up being a total winner. Chris’ service was top tier: friendly without being overbearing, efficient, and so helpful in making the whole experience feel personal. It honestly made our meal feel a level above the usual. If you’re visiting, definitely hope you get Chris as he made the entire visit memorable. Highly recommend Wagamama in Westquay, especially with service as amazing as this!
So, a friend of mine had been telling me of this place for ages. She spoke very highly of it, as a matter of fact. I’ve always wanted to go here, and very recently, I was able to do just that. I was able to try out these dishes, which I made a point to take photos of. For the price, I’d say this is more than worth it. They certainly didn’t disappoint. I will be making a point to come back.
This review is long overdue. I visited Wagamama with my family in August, and we had an excellent experience. The food and service were outstanding. Our children were happily occupied with colouring activities while we waited, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The quality of the food has improved significantly, clearly reflecting the high standards Wagamama is setting compared to its competitors. A big thank you to all the Wagamama staff, especially the talented chefs!
AMAZING STAFF. I went here on the weekend with my boyfriend and the service was amazing , Liv greeted us and was so lovely ! She has a great warm personality and is super welcoming , we where then seated and served by Decklan who was great , he helped me with my order changes and made sure everything worked out with the chefs ( thank you to them too! ) Decklan was quick and professional and happy to help . 10/10 recommend, thank you .
